Chicks with Sticks Hockey Minnesota

icon-int Summer Session 2019

Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Price: $216.00 (Full Timer)

Dates: 6/10 - 8/26 (Mondays)
Time: 8:15am - 9:15am
Location: Braemar Ice Arena (Edina)

Duration: 12 Games

This is a fun, yet competitive, fast-paced league, ideal for skaters with 2 plus years of hockey playing experience. This league plays "whistle stop" games. Meaning, besides officiating the game, the referees will occasionally stop the game to explain "team & game play" concepts. They will also give individual tips to players on ways to play the game better. Teams will be evenly balanced to assure more competitive games.

League Details

  • Games will be at Braemar Ice Arena (Edina) and start at 8:15am.
  • 2 teams with 10 to 12 players per team.
  • A referee will be there to call the game, explain game concepts.
  • Shooting tarps or boards will be used, unless goalies are available.
  • Goalies will skate for FREE.

  • June 10, 17, 24
  • July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
  • August 5, 12, 19, 26

Balanced Teams

After I have a list of all the full time players, I will then put together teams. They will be evenly matched, in terms of the range of skills, to assure more competitive games. I will put friends together when requested. Each week we will reshuffle the team rosters so skaters will play with a variety of teammates.

  • Full-Timers: These players commit to the full schedule of 12 games.
  • Part-Timers: This option is open to players that can't play the full season. Part-Timers can pick what games work in their schedule.
  • Drop-Ins: Will play when we need to fill out a roster. However, Part-Timers will be given preference for a Monday's roster.

  • $18.00 per game
  • 12 game schedule - $216.00 (Full Timer)
  • Split-Season / Part-Timers (Example: 6 games x $18 = $108.00)
  • Goalies skate for FREE!

8:15am - 9:15am
